Los Angeles Pre Wedding Engagement Photos

As much as I love shooting in San Francisco with it’s beautiful monuments, I can’t help but crave the novelty of shooting somewhere new. I was super excited when Simon and Pearl suggested shooting their engagement session in the city of Angels. There were so many stops, the day was long, but it was a lot of fun and totally worth it. The locations we selected look great on film. The architectural structures are amazing and made the couple standout even more. We stopped off at the LACMA, the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Venice Beach to name a few. Hope you love it!

Casa Real Wedding Photography

Happy Wednesday, Everyone! Check out these pictures from Shannon and Hasashi’s wedding at the Casa Real. The weather was not on our side so everyone stayed indoors but the couple was happy and there was a party going on. The ceremony was all aglow and beautifully decorated with flowers. Even before the “I dos”, I caught some really sweet moments between the two, starting with the first look that brought tears to both the bride and groom. It’s moments like these that I get to be a witness to that makes my job worth it. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

San Francisco Outdoor Engagement Photos

As the busy wedding season approaches, I’ve been working hard preparing and shooting engagement sessions for my amazing couples. Although weather has not been on our side, I finally caught a break with Geralyn and Melvin. As you can see in these pictures, we got sun! This fun couple opted for a more rural look. We headed north of the city to a location that the couple fell head over heels for. The pictures turned out great and I love how the green background really captures the springtime that we arein. And last but not least, the couple requested pictures with the Golden Gate Bridge. I thought this was a sweet ending to the day. I hope you love the pictures. Happy Tuesday!

Sacramento Weddings Arden Hills Resort Club & Spa

Happy Thursday, Everyone! The weekend is just around the corner, which means for me, working on engagement sessions, but a nice chance to meet up with some future bride and grooms. I’m happy to unveil another wedding that I shot earlier this year. The bride, Debbie, is the younger sister of my best friend; so this was an especially fun wedding for me. Debbie and Steven reside in the Davis/Sacramento area, which is why the wedding was held at the Arden Hills Resort Club & Spa. The weather was great even in the late winter/early spring season. This crafty couple had cute touches throughout the wedding. Starting first with their love of Converse shoes. The entire wedding party donned the sneakers in matching colors that really popped in the pictures. Debbie, also a DIY bride, created the bouquets out of fabric! They looked amazing. I especially liked the cake with matching topper. It was a really sweet wedding and I even caught Steven tearing up a few times throughout the day. I hope you all love the pictures!

San Francisco Ferry Building Engagement

Carina and Victor wanted a modern, sophisticated engagement session. They chose the gorgeous San Francisco cityscape as their background. Looking classy in their duds, I was able to capture the couple in some timeless shots. I especially like the first image, which reminds me of an old movie, like from Casablanca. We were also able to change it up for a more fun and relaxed feel. It’s the best of both worlds. Enjoy!
