Choosing the right location can really help set the mood for a photo shoot. The background can help to focus the image on the subject. In this case, the subjects are Tina and Andrew, who selected the dark but romantic historical Fort Point National and the glitzy City Hall. As you can see, the darker and quieter backgrounds allowed me to focus the picture on them. There’s no competing with the backdrop. And yet, the locations were still able to make a statement.
