Dunsmuir Hellman Historic Estate Wedding Photos

It’s such a treat to shoot somewhere new and that was just the case for Fon and Stanley’s wedding. Dunsmuir Hellman Historic Estate is a beautiful location in Oakland. The estate rests on 50 acres of picturesque landscape with a pond and gazebo. The location provided a great backdrop for Fon and Stanley’s portrait. It was even more of a charming day for the lovely bride and groom as they were surrounded by their closest family and friends for the ceremony. One guest that was especially important to them was their dog, Mimi. It was a warm and love filled day.

Palm Event Center Wedding Photos

Stephanie and Vinson’s wedding was a great day filled with sweet touches decorating the already beautiful Palm Event Center. The Palm Event Center is a grand winery estate. With it’s own picturesque vineyard, guests are first greeted with rows of palm trees as they arrive to the venue. The reception was held in an romantic ballroom lined with wine barrels. But what set this wedding apart were the additions that Stephanie and Vinson made. The bride walked down the aisle lined with mossy poms and butterflies, a constant theme throughout the day. The reception had candles around the room helping with the candlelit glow cast on the amazing couple. And to top everything off, was the amazing cake table / dessert bar filled with cupcakes and candy for the guests. It was a beautiful event and I was happy to be there to see it.

San Francisco Baby & Family Portrait

Hello, World! I would like to introduce you to baby Caelyn. Having been blessed with a little girl of my own recently, I can understand the desire to capture every little part of your baby’s life. So when Caelyn’s mother, Jill, contacted me to do a family portrait, I was happy to oblige. I’ve been there for Jill and Bryan’s engagement session, wedding, and maternity portrait. I was excited to meet their little bundle of joy. This is my first time working with this beautiful baby girl and even at a young age, she was a pleasure to work with. Thank you for a wonderful day!

San Francisco Embassy Suite Zen Peninsula Wedding

Shirley and Henry’s wedding day was quite an adventure. We started the day at the Embassy Suites in Burlingame. The hotel is located by the water, giving us gorgeous views. After the ceremony, we trekked down to the Japanese Tea Gardens in San Mateo. After 15 minutes of shooting, we were asked to leave by a security guard. Shirley and Henry stuck by me as we snuck around the gardens for a few more shots. Soon after, we headed to a park to complete the portrait session before heading to Zen Peninsula for the reception. A bonus to my day was being able to spend some time with my good friend Beverly Yip of Especially Yours Chair Covers, and a childhood friend of the bride. It was such a fun day. Thank you Shirley and Henry for allowing me to be a part of it.

Venue: Nicole Schafer of Embassy Suites
Reception: Andy Koo of Zen Peninsula

Fort Point Beach San Francisco Engagement

The past few months have been very hectic for Christine and Andy, as it is for most brides and grooms. However, for this special couple, it meant Christine moving from Southern California to be with Andy as they approach their wedding day. This engagement session was long awaited but as you can see, it turned out amazingly. We took a stroll down Lover’s Lane and spent some time at Fort Point. Christine and Andy loved the tall eucalyptus trees at at the Presidio and Fort Point gave them their view of the Golden Gate Bridge. As we were winding up the day, we stopped off at a little beach to complete their vision. Although it was a bright and sunny day, the water was surely freezing for the two, but they made it look easy. Thanks Christine and Andy for showing me a new part of San Francisco. Hope you like your pictures and I’ll see you soon for your upcoming nuptials.
